Blizzard,

This petition is to seek fairness in the Mythic Dungeon Invitational. The first item that has been extremely unfair to teams can be seen from the EU Bracket in MDI. Team PogChamp beat Kjell's Angels and sent them to the loser's bracket. PogChamp ultimately won the winner's bracket and lost one series to Kjell's Angels and was automatically seeded 2nd to them in that bracket. In true fairness, Kjell's Angels would technically have tied the series 1-1, and one more would need to be played to determine the true winner. This may not be that important in a "for fun" setting, but when money is involved this becomes something that needs to be evaluated.

Second, when a dungeon is complete but has to be remade due to a bug, why not make only the team who had the "bug" redo the dungeon and compete against the previous team's time. An example of this is when Team Method NA had a "bug" in Lower Karazhan and the game had to be remade. Team Limit had already finished the dungeon, so why make them redo it unless it was their decision. This was extremely unfair to Team Limit, since their had already proved their efforts in the first run.

We understand that MDI is supposed to be entertaining, but that entertainment gets affected when equality and fairness is not considered to the full extent. A remake is fair to the team who experienced the bug, but maybe not so to the team that had already finished a dungeon and was happy with their effort. We think a more in-depth look of how MDI could become more fair should definitely be a high priority.

The competitive integrity of the Mythic Dungeon Invitational remains the primary focus of this initiative. I am currently compiling a comprehensive list of specific instances where tournament rules disrupted fair play to present to the organizers. Your feedback regarding these inconsistencies continues to provide essential evidence for our argument.

The response to this petition has demonstrated a clear desire for greater integrity in professional competition. This momentum confirms that people care deeply about the fairness of these tournaments when stakes are high.

If remakes are going to happen, the best time of both teams should be taken into account.

its honestly ridiculous that teams have to replay whole dungeons just because of some server bug. blizzard needs to get their act together if they want this to be taken seriously as a real esport.
