I oppose the zoning change proposed for this development

I have been making phone calls. I think all of us in the Marine Creek HOA have just gotten screwed. On the HOA website, the board of directors lists Hayden Cutler Co as a member. When you click the picture below that, it lists an employee named randy lockhart as the contact. I called him. Hayden Cutler Co owned all the land that was used to develop our neighborhood, and they own the land where the rezoning is occurring. They will be the financial beneficiary of this development and they sit on our HOA board of directors. We have all had the wool pulled over our eyes. FSresidential to who we all pay our dues has stated in an email that they will give no support to us. I will be at the meeting on may 11th. hope some of you can attend and voice your opposition.

I am in agreement of all the reasons stated as to why the multi family units should not be built in the proposed location. I am not against affordable housing, gnus is just not the right location.

We do not want ANY multi-family housing, apartments, townhomes, condos, etc. MCR residents do not want our property values dumped in the toilet. We also do not want of quality of life and quality of residents compromised by the proposed construction and zoning.

Completely against any low budget housing in our area or around. We have all worked hard for what we have.

I am against multi-family units in this area. I don't believe this area is sufficiently setup with the infrastructure needed to support the families who already live here - let alone multi-family units. As well, it's pretty well documented that crime rates tend to rise when multi-family units (particularly in the cases of subsidized housing) are built in a predominantly single family subdivision.

MCR ZONING PETITION

I am against low-income apartments in the subdivision of Marine Creek Ranch/Cromwell Marine Creek Road.

I am not in favour of rezoning. We do not need multi-unit dwellings in the Marine Creek Ranch or areas immediately adjacent areas to it. This only breeds crime, increased road congestion to a already overloaded roadway system. Current infrastructure is already strained with the approved and planned single dwelling developments.

Multitude of factors for opposing this rezoning action. I820 intersections at MarineCreek Pkwy and Azle ave are insufficient for the traffic load they are under now. U Turns would be needed and provided engineering the bridge at Azle and overpass at MarineCreek are wide enough to accommodate U turns. These roads are not completed. Huffines is currently under construction to expand the 2 lane section to 4. This will attract more through traffic en-route to parts West of Saginaw and North on Boatclub. MarineCreek and Cromwell-MarineCreek both should be expanded. I thought the bridge on Cromwell-MarineCreek looked like a great start. And no it ended there with only 2 lanes. There is a Grocery shortage across this neighborhood. There should be efforts to lobby a Kroger here or up on Boatclub Rd.

Marine Creek Ranch was expressly marketed exclusively as single family homes to myself and my wife.

Does anyone who lives within the marine creek ranch HOA area know if their will be someone from the HOA representing us at the meeting?
