As a parent who lives in Brenwood Park , I do not feel as though our children should be rezoned to Sheridan Elementary for the upcoming school year 2008-2009. Many people, including us, moved into Brenwood Park with the understanding that new schools would be built in the area but rezoning to a school further from our current school is rediculous. Next year will be the 3rd YEAR in a row that we have been rezoned. As parents, pressure is always put on us to keep the stability in the lives of our children. How can we do this when they are continuously being educationally unstable by rezoning by the district Our subdivision is literally across the street from McFee and we would be passing McFee in order to get to Sheridan . This does not make sense. How can we try to get our parents and students involved in the schools when we are constantly being rezoned It hard to do when parents know they are being rezoned every year. We would like the option to stay at McFee Elementary for the upcoming school year 2008-09.
