We want to collect names to show that others also believe that canceling the MCAS this year would help students feel less pressure in having to get a good score on their tests. By signing this petition you are conveying that the mental health of the students should come before test results. Taking the MCAS test is really not beneficial for the kids. If anything, making children do the MCAS testing adds more unnecessary worry to students who are already stressed out during this pandemic.
