I have been reading through the notes you leave here and the stories about your children are truly eye-opening. I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have added their name to this request. We are nearly at one hundred signatures and I wonder if we could reach that mark today if everyone just mentions this to a single neighbor.

159 Districts in Jersey and 3 Catholic Diocese have already committed to unmask our kids that is 475,000 students being given CHOICE. We all deserve the same.
I would add - in addition to being mask choice I am also in favor of ending contact tracing and close contacts exclusion from school regardless of vaccination status.
Although a person in a high risk group (>65) I feel that at this stage of the pandemic and bases on what we have learned over the last 2 years everyone should have free choice to wear s mask. I personally am willing to put myself at more risk in order to provide my daughter and grandchildren a choice.
Lifting the mandate does not necessarily mean masks go away, it just gives parents a choice. Please do not discriminate between vaccinated and unvaccinated (vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t spread it). Also please eliminate the quarantine rules.
Follow the science - No more masks! My son has gone to the doctors 4 times complaining about not be able to breathe everyday around 5th period. This mandate is killing these kids.
No MANDATES!!!!

I'm pro-vaccine and have always supported masks in school until almost a month ago. It's time to make masks in public schools optional, as they are almost everywhere else except hospitals. If a new variant emerges, people should re-evaluate. Until then, unmask our kids.
