On Saturday the 28th July 2018 a number of individuals entered into a contract with Marks & Spencer for a Needham Corner Sofa for which they advertised as reduced in their furniture sale on their website. Marks & Spencer sent out email confirmations and took monies of £137.40+ for each sofa purchased.

M&S then decided after a number of hours (it took them over 5 hours) to email selective purchasers to cancel the orders on the grounds of "technical error" or "software error". The balance of us received a generic email to call customer services as there was a problem with our orders.

M&S have also have wiped all information of any original order from our accounts without our consent and are still in possession of our money.

Do not blame us for your failed systems or pricing errors or whatever excuse you wish to bring upon us. M&S accepted the orders as a binding contract the moment they agreed to accept and be in receipt our our funds.

Accept responsibility for your failed actions and despatch what we purchased and now own according to eyes of the Law. Your name will not be cleared as a leading UK retailer until you rectify this shambolic blatant disregard for e-commerce customer service and unlawful behaviour.

Marks & Spencer - do the right thing and send the promised sofas to those that have ordered, paid and received confirmations.

If you as a consumer, like me, want justice please sign, share across social media and notify M&S.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has supported the petition so far - over 100 signatures! Let's keep the pressure on M&S to resolve this issue quickly.

UPDATE: Over 250 signatures! Amazing. M&S need to see this, so please share it with them on social media and in any email correspondence you have with them.

UPDATE: Wow! A huge response to the petition - thank you! Interested to know how you're all getting on with M&S. Keep the pressure on them and let's hope they resolve this quickly.
