Ladies and Gentlemen of the Council,

The Town of Crossroads is no longer a small town, and we must embrace this change. We have seen tremendous growth all around us over the years, and it’s time for the Town to take advantage of this growth.

The proposed Market Square Project offers its citizens not only the necessities that it has been lacking for years, but also what is required to support and sustain such growth. The population around the Town has exploded in recent years, yet our Town has continued to be a void for decent restaurants, entertainment venues and quality grocery alternatives.

Crossroads citizens are forced to travel to other cities if they want to sit down at a restaurant, or take their families to any sort of entertainment venue or purchase high quality groceries. A vote for the Market Square project would encourage citizens to stay local, spend local and travel less when we have everything we need in our own backyard.

We encourage our councilmembers to embrace the growth that this economy has afforded us. Although most of us moved to Crossroads to get out of the big cities, there is no turning back at this point and we need to position the Town for future success. Growth is literally happening all around us. If we do not accept this project, the grocery stores, entertainment venues and restaurants will go right down the road, and the Town of Crossroads will receive no financial benefits from such businesses. We must take advantage of what is being offered to us, especially when we consider that no other developer will offer the Town the same incentives that the Market Square developer, who is local to the community, has proposed to the Town.

We highly encourage you, our elected councilmembers, to consider the enormous benefits that this project would bring to the Town of Crossroads and its citizens.

Sincerely,

Citizens of Crossroads
