This is a wonderful store and should be allowed to compete with other businesses and provide a convenience to the neighborhood.

There is no rational or logical reasoning not to allow this, only the callous opinions of the few

It would be great convenience for their regular customers with limited means of transportation. One-stop shopping is a time-saver, and for those who drive a fuel-saver. Fewer trips mean less traffic in our densely populated neighborhood.

Many people in the Bywater and Marigny area depend on Mardi Gras Zone for their grocery needs. Lots of people in this area don't have cars. It would be a great service to the community if alcohol was available at this store.

With the closing of Schiros, the neighborhood should have a full-service store.

Mardi Gras is the coolest bar there is except they don't sell liquor. They should be able to do this! I come all the wAy from St Louis because of this store! What a non New Orleans could there be than a store named Mardi Gras and not be able to sell alcohol?
