I am currently finalizing the formal response to the environmental assessment regarding the proximity of the proposed plant to the SSSI and RAMSAR site. These documents will be submitted to the planning committee to ensure they account for potential leak hazards. I have also reached out to local council representatives to request a formal briefing on the traffic impact studies.

Please can you confirm where this figure of 600 trucks per day has come from? If this is correct, the proposal will nearly double the amount of HGV traffic, which should be enough to seriously strengthen any campaign against this proposed development?
This simply cannot happen. Increased traffic which is already at breaking point, council taxes will go up, house prices will go down, increased flood risk, noise, etc etc etc-there's way too much industry as it is in the village. There are zero positive aspects to this proposal.
I have grown up in Marchwood and seen it go from bad to worse. This is just a joke and will drive many residents away. Marchwood is already being driven down by the smell it already creates and industrial traffic. Disgusting insult to the residents!
i grew up in that area of marchwood and remember it as a beautiful green place! You are going to take that away from all future children! Disgusting! There are plenty other areas to do this that don't have homes around
Marchwood, a small village neighbouring the New Forest, now commonly referred to as a stinking dumping ground in the name of industry! Please, for the sake of both our environmental & personal well being, LEAVE MARCHWOOD ALONE!

AD Plants are a good idea but need to planned, planning permission obtained, have community involvement, be sited in the right place and not be just a cash cow for investors looking to rake in Ofgem ROCs to offset the high operating costs.
