We are petitioning to stop Barker-Mill & Trant Construction from building an Anaerobic Digestion Plant and Industrial Park at Cork Farm, Marchwood. The proposed site is one of the last green spaces in our over industrialised village which is situated on the edge of the New Forest. Our already busy country roads will become even worse!! The complaints received about these types of plants from people living up to a mile away describe gut-wrenching smells!! It will have a detrimental impact on the community. Also there is the potential Environmental Impact if there was a leak, the AD Plant is being built next door to a SSSI and RAMSAR Site.
