This is a beautiful and iconic building which deserves to be restored and preserved. It is just sad to see it decaying away the way it is. Please rescue it!

It's a disgrace! Britannia Hotels are all run down and desperately need buying out. In the meantime, at least let's get this beautiful building back in the hands of those that care!

London road fire station is a massive part of Manchester's history and should be treated as such.

We should secure these buildings for future years. They are our history.

Such an iconic building how dare we treat it like this. We are the guardians of these buildings and have a moral duty of care.

This building needs to be taken over by someone who cares about it's future, not leave it to wrack and ruin.

This should be converted into a hotel/restaurant or apartments. It is large enough to be an entertainment complex/hotel

Its disgusting that the Britannia group has got away with this for so long. They obviously want it to fall down so they can sell or use the land.

They've had far too many chances to actually restore this. Too many extensions and "we're definitely going to sort this *THIS* time!" being accepted by the council while they push the papers back into the back of the pile once more... Because that's easier than preserving real architectural history! ENOUGH! This needs saving ASAP

This beautiful building should not be left to wrack and ruin. It should be reworked as a diverse array of arts centres / usic benues / living spaces / cafes & shops to further the creativity & diversity that this city is famous for
