A disgrace that this landmark Manchester building has been allowed to deteriorate under the "management" and avarice of Britannia Hotels.

I walk past London Road Fire Station every day and it is such a beautiful building. Something needs to be done to restore it to its former glory sooner rather than later!

This iconic building needs to be restored. The fact that it is a derelict building you see as you leave one of the main transport links into Manchester is shameful.

Such a beautiful & significant building, why let it crumble, right opposite the main train station?!

That we don't build with the civic pride of our predecessors is sad but to allow such a fantastic building to slowly rot is criminal.

A lovely building that needs Sabin from decay! Manchester heritage at its finest in many way just withering and loosing it's light! Save the fire station and it's glorious architecture!

One of the most iconic buildings in Manchester left to rot by Brittania Hotels. Not only that, it's one of the first things visitors see when they exit Piccadilly train station. It could be an amazing first glipse of the city but instead it's a sad, derelict mess.

This building must be rescued from the hands of the ner do well Britannia Group. Would you really want them to honor a commitment to renovate the building? Can you imagine the type of dump they would create? Think turning a silk purse into a sows ear. Time to hand it over to professionals to preserve and rescue.

Give this building back to Manchester. My father trained at London Rd Fire Station. It upsets me to see it derelict and unused. The building itself is beautiful.
