This is a great building in a prominent location on the A6 London Road and close to Piccadilly railway station.
There have to be viable uses for it!

For many years, whilst operating at Store St, I've watched this iconic building, situated on one of Manchesters main corridors, sit empty, neglected and unloved. Its an insult to the city, that Britannia would let this happen. Surely its now the end of their games and promises.....

this building is a feast for the eyes - even in its current sad state of repair. It could be so much more impressive if renovated and provide a stunning welcome to visitors arriving at Manchester Piccadilly.

I have loved this building since I was a pupil of Manchester Central Grammar School for girls which was on Aytoun Street.My bus stop was outside the Fire Station and I saw this majestic building everyday I do hope I can be saved from ruin,
