Please stop Britannia hotels from letting this historic building decay, it's a tragedy.

Has the world fallen off its axis? Why are greedy money hungry organisations trying to destroy heritage and erase our city's beautiful architecture. We need to preserve and innovative spaces, not tear everything down only to end up with a awful landscape of cheap office buildings which look horrendous in 15 years. I am astonished that this is even allowed to happen.

It's an incredible shame to see such a beautiful building go to ruin. It could easily become one of Manchester's most iconic buildings if it was put good use.

I lived next to LRFS for 2 years and it is one of the most impressive buildings I have ever seen. And original multipurpose building that deserves better than Britannia Hotels.

My dad was also stationed here in the late 60s / early 70s. Grand building full of memories. Don't let it fade.

Is about time this beautiful building was put to good use and not let get to a stage where the only option is demolition, which is what the owners want as that site will be worth a fortune. The site could be changed to become wonderful and unique luxury flats or a beautiful hotel.

A striking bit of Manchester history in an area with enough new development. The beauty is in the blend.

Manchester needs a strong approach from the south. The London Road Fire Station offers this opportunity to welcome visitors to our great city however at present the years of neglect mean sadly it currently detracts from the area. Enough is Enough.
