It is disgraceful this historic building has been allowed to fall into such a state of disrepair. This is one of the main entrances into the city centre and should be a show piece building for everyone to appreciate.

It's about time the government stopped cutting away at vital services, Fire Service, Police, Ambulances, NHS. If the government spent less on frivolities then there wouldn't have to be savage cuts to brilliant front line services

It's great that at last something is being done to bring this beautiful building back to its former glory.

It's sad to see such a great building/ Fire Station empty and decaying. I had the privilege of serving at London Road as an instructor on the training school and on white watch.

It is Grade II* listed for a reason and should be saved as an important building of its period with a historical story

This building is an icon of Manchester and corporate greed should not be allowed to destroy it.
