In 2014, a pint of milk cost less than a pint of water and dairy farmers saw a huge drop in the amount they were being paid for it. This cannot continue.

Please make a Mammoth Effort and sign this petition to save dairy farmers across the UK by helping them get a fairer price for milk and persuade supermarkets to charge more for it.

I just saw the count hit one hundred and honestly my coffee turned cold while I was staring at the screen in total shock. It is actually wild to think that this many people care about what happens to our farmers because sometimes I feel like I am yelling into a void about milk prices.

I was looking at the numbers earlier while drinking coffee and realized how fast this is moving. If everyone who already signed just pulls up their phone and texts a few people who might care about these farmers maybe we can hit that hundred mark by tonight because I honestly cannot stop thinking about how unfair these prices have become.

Supermarkets wiped out our family dairy after 75 years, they sell milk cheaper than we could buy it. Every corner shop we delivered to has been wiped out, taking with them community spirt. I have no sympathy for super markets.

farmers work in all weathers and have the welfare of vast number of animals to consider night and day. It is not unreasonable to expect a fair share of the supply demand cake. I would pay more but why should supermarkets make SO much. It's greedy

I'd prefer to pay more for milk from BRITISH farms and where cows are allowed outside to eat grass during the summer. Bit like what happened with eggs, people would get on board with 'free range' milk once they realised where imported milk came from.

I would be happy to pay £1.50 per 4 pints if I knew the extra 50p was going to the Dairy Farmers - who deserve to get something for all their hard work. What happened to ethical trading - come on Supermarkets - do something morally right for a change.

The price currently paid to dairy farmers is an absolute disgrace. Why should anyone work for a financial loss. This needs fixing now before the UK dairy industry is totally ruined. Imagine an English countryside without dairy cows ? I really can't bear to think of that..

I feel so strongly about this. Farming in this country has to be saved. We cannot let supermarkets dictate prices. They have already destroyed many butchers and greengrocery businesses in this country and now they are going to destroy British farming. We can't let it happen!

Get it done. Supermarkets are literally killing farmers!
