Malvern Vale is a fast developing area and is now home to over 300 homeowners and tenants expected to reach a high of 500. Although the development is in Malvern its broadband is currently sourced from the Leigh Sinton exchange. Malvern is going to be upgraded to the new faster Fibre Optic Broadband but because the exchange is in Leigh Sinton, Malvern Vale has missed out on this. Many of the residents of this area suffer from incredibly poor broadband speeds and an upgrade is in very high demand. After corresponding with BT, one of these attempts by Harriett Baldwin MP, BT have so far failed to commit to making this upgrade. We therefore make this Petition in the hope that BT will take note and make this change.
