It seems that onlincolnshire and BT have thus far only provided a token gesture of superfast broadband with barely any coverage across our large and growing village.

We are creating this petition to gather support to request expansion of the exchange and therefore increasing availability across the village for all households.

The current levels of broadband are extremely poor, yet still costs us money to subscribe. For some, it is so slow that it is costing household businesses to suffer and incur additional charges for mobile networks as the only reliable source.

We the undersigned would request BT Openreach to act now due to the high level of demand.

The growth of this movement has forced a formal response from BT Openreach representatives. We are preparing a briefing package to present at our upcoming meeting with local infrastructure leads regarding the exchange capacity.

I've registered my interest in fibre broadband with Openreach. When BT can't meet the demand for fibre they say to get in touch with Openreach. That's a bit like getting in touch with Kelloggs when a supermarket doesn't have corn flakes!

1.4 Mbps is poor by today's standards. The DSLAM in Cab 6 had capacity in April 2016 but I was refused the opportunity to place an order. There is space for at least one more DSLAM in Cab 6 before a larger cabinet is required. Plus circa 100 more homes are being built by Persimmon homes within 500 metres, so demand is definitely there.

It is a disgrace that this infastructure was not thought about during the planning stages of this development

I've been waiting to have fibre broadband for a long time now. I live on the old estate and seems only the new residents on the newer estate get immediate access to fibre and yet we are forgotten about. As it came to light we could have access to fibre, it was too late as there isn't enough capacity........

Poor broadband and no fibre left is meaning we are considering leaving the village, we cannot work from home, are having to spend extra on mobile data packages, impossible to stream movies - not happy for paying!

The speeds in the village are disgraceful. Costs my wife money in her business, and costs us more money in mobile data as a result of having to use this instead of Wi-Fi! ...yet BT still take my money! ...i mean up to 6 hours to download a 90min film!!!!

We are currently with sky being offered intermittent broadband, where most days we have none! Fibre would be amazing especially as seeing as i cant get internet at all at the moment!
