As a college student in the 21st century, technology is one of the MOST used things that can help and assist any college student to succeed at his or her best level! But, the mobile cell phone is one of the most used technology devices by college students.
*86% of college students use a smart phone on a daily bases (9 out of 10 college students)
*85% of college students own a smartphone (device ownership)
*64% of college students use their mobile device for college work at least 2-3 times a week
There are MANY college students that use mobile devices, there should be a mobile app for college students to use at Georgia Gwinnett College! Since, there's not an official app that's made yet that'll be a helpful tool for college students to use. The mobile app will include some of GGC's websites like D2l, Banner and My GGC. As well as, the maps of the school campus and information on any upcoming events/latest news that's happening at Georgia Gwinnett College.
This mobile app will definitely benefit college students at GGC because it's more of a convenient way for students to be able to use some of the college websites right from their smartphone or mobile device! Whether it's using d2l to upload a homework assignment or banner to look at degree works to check on how many classes a student has to complete to graduate on time, having an official working mobile app for Georgia Gwinnett College students to use is an excellent idea to pursue.

I have been sending emails to the administration all week and the silence from them is becoming difficult to ignore. It is exhausting to keep pushing for something so simple that would help every student here. I am tired but I know we deserve a system that actually works for us.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that my frustration with our current campus tools is shared by so many of you. It is exhausting to keep pushing for changes that feel like they should be obvious, but your backing keeps me moving forward.
