The transit routes are staying open. I truly cannot believe that this worked but it happened because so many of you refused to stay quiet. Please keep watching the schedules as things settle down.
The public transit funding mess is not a game to us.
We, the undersigned, demand that Governor Blagojevich, Mayor Daley, the Illinois General Assembly, and other elected officials take action before September 16, 2007 to prevent the following Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus routes from being eliminated. We also oppose the cuts to Pace buses, which are extensive, and possible Metra fare increases. Also, without Pace, parking at Metra lots might become impossible.

I am honestly stunned to see so many people stepping up for our bus routes. This momentum belongs entirely to you and I am just doing my best to keep up. If you can help us reach that first hundred mark today it would show the people at the top that we are serious.

LEAVE THE CTA ALONE. Taxpayers are already paying enough for this service.

This is totally gonna mess up traffic for everyone. Maybe they should try walking to work themselves just once.

Ridiculous. How am I supposed to get to work without the 120? These people have never taken the bus in their life.
