May this Sacred place of Memory be restored to its rightful dignity. There are many parishoners & men/women who died for unity & peace lain here, may our path to remember our dead not be impeded by the scandal of neglect. The new road to Dublin is perfect, while our parishoners & friends pathways are old & undignified.

Not only is this situation very sad but it is dangerous, especially for the elderly. No respect for the people buried there.

If we can't respect the dead what chance has the living! It's like walking through a muddy field trying to pay respect to the dead in athy . It wouldn't cost a whole lot to make this a proper burial ground accessible for all. Kcc wake up please!!!

Definitely needs to be something done sooner rather than later!people need to be able to visit there loved ones, without having to worry about falling into potholes or slipping on dirty footpath surfaces.

I have no family buried in this graveyard thank god & have no reason to go up to the graveyard but looking at these pictures its a disgrace the state of the graveyard & i feel sorry for anyone who has family buried here & the conditions in which they have to witness when visiting loved ones.
