The school and the association finally agreed to recognize our program. It has been a long and draining battle to get here but we finally secured the support we deserve. We need to stay focused on the upcoming season now that the official hurdles are behind us.

Hey staff, families, students, friends and water polo finaticts!l Last year we tried to make Mason water polo a sport this year we are pushing again! We want to push to be a sport because we suffer from low to barely any funding, time in the pool, recognition at our school, bussing, new equipment, good hotels and weight room time. Please help us reach our dream and help us win states this year!! It would help out program to the maximum!! We also are trying to push for the OHSAA to turn water polo into a state sport!

The climb toward a hundred signatures is exhausting but we are still pushing despite the lack of support. If you believe our athletes deserve proper recognition then send this link to a few people today. We cannot afford to lose momentum now.

Water Polo is one of the best sports to engage students on any academic campus. The benefits of health/fitness, water safety and community/team building will have a strong positive impact on your school.

Water polo players work just as hard, if not harder, than any other high school varsity sport. we train hard and we deserve to be considered a sport at MHS. yes we have a new coach, but transitions are always hard! this new coach is working her butt off to make us better and to get us to the top. we deserve to be part of the mason athletic family!

I might n9t he a student at Mason, but water polo is highly intensive both physically and mentally and deserves to be recognised by the school district as basketball, football, lacrosse, tennis, etc. are. These kids are considered athletes which means WP should be considered a sport.

Waterpolo has been ranked as the number one conditioning sport in America. It's good for kids and there scholarships, especially for girls.

Mason Water Polo has and still does produce talented water polo players that play at the NCAA, collegiate club, national, state, high school, and competitive club levels. At all these levels they represent Mason so it is only right if Mason HS recognizes water polo as a sport.

This is significantly overdue! Mason, please recognize water polo as a sport. It is already a sport at many area schools - we are behind our peer schools on this (St. X, Sycamore, etc.)
