With many players of multiple backgrounds going to MHS, it is definitely a plausible move to make a culturally diverse sport popular at Mason. Cricket a hugely popular sport internationally, suffers from having little to no recognition in the USA. Cricket has very little funding, and that doesn't allow us high-schoolers to get the equipment needed to get better at the game and beat the high level teams that we play. However, through minimal funding, we can get this culturally diverse sport to bring people together to understand even more about this beautiful game.

this is honestly crazy to see so many people backing the idea of getting cricket at school. i didnt think it would pick up this much steam so fast but it goes to show how many of us actually want to get out there and play.

its about time the school recognizes cricket, so many of us play it already and it would be awesome to have a real team.
