I have asked a few students and if they like the print room they all say they love it but dont use it often because its to expensive. i feel that a lot students dont ful-fil their full potential because they cant use the facilities as much as they would like too.
We would like the university to fund the print room materials so we can use it more often without worrying about how much it will cost.

it makes students reluctant to work to the best of there ability, or able to refine there work because of these ridiculous costings, during college I was able to print with exactly the same materials for completely free
For 9k a year I'm in 12 hours a week which is a bit rubbish for full time education and then after not getting lectured on not travelling around for my photography course (Because i don't have the money) i have to go and spend £60 on 10 A3 prints. I hate it when the odd lecturers say that it isn't that much and all this other stuff its alright for them they get £35/40,000 a year so come back and say when I've finished paying of my £46,000 debt!!!
been waiting for some thing like this.. we don't pay nearly 9 grand to pay extra stupid accounts in printing, sine of us cannot afford to pay but if we don't we fail.. it's not on!!
Agreed! Not every student has an endless bucket of money to chuck into printing. We fund the university after all so it would be better spent in useful ways such as this!
I bought my own card, my own lino, and it still cost me £10 for the small amount of paint that I used. The price racks up quickly and it makes me wonder what my tuition is actually going towards.
Should be made free! And Uniflow printing should be made cheaper!!!!

Paid just under 40 pounds for a project and 35 pounds for the project after. Its ridiculous, I would love to know what exactly our money is being spent on
