It is time for Webster's and Oxford to step up to the plate and put rudeful in the dictionary. It is rudeful not to. Sign and share this petition if you agree!!

I really thought this would just be me shouting into the void about how much we need the word rudeful because it describes so many people I bump into at the grocery store. My inbox is starting to fill up with messages from people who honestly get why it is so necessary and it is wild to see that I am not the only one thinking about this constantly.

I really never thought this many people would care about adding a word to the dictionary and yet here we are talking about rudeful like it belongs in every book on the shelf. It feels pretty wild that total strangers are just as annoyed by the lack of this word as I am so thanks for getting behind this ridiculous goal.

Adding 'rudeful' to the dictionary would give a positive alternative to 'impolite'. It's similar to having a word like 'refute' that expresses a positive notion, rather than using terms like 'disconfirm' that the semi-literates in psychology departments love to use.

Language grows to fit the needs of its users. I support the creation of rudeful. :)

Rudeful is a brilliant word! I totally support it being recognized and promoted as a “bona fide” word of the English language.
