It is some animal owners that need to be fixed. The animals are only a product of the people that are supposed to be "caring" for them. The animals deserve better and deserve every chance at a proper life.

It would be splendid for this no kill petition to succeed! There are so many homeless cats and dogs in your area and so many people that don't give a damn. Good luck!

It's a crime that LA won't hire an Animal Services Director with a "no-kill" or rescue background. Change your elected officials.

Please a shelter should be a safe haven for homeless animals. You shouldn't have to die because you don't have a home. And there shouldn't be a time limit to life, period.

These animals (dogs and cats alike) deserve a chance at life they were given. Spaying and neutering is only part of the answer. Killing simply isn't a solution nor should be an option. We as humans are all responsible for these animals.

This is not just an American problem. Canadian shelters are ANYTHING but shelters. They are killing millions of innocent animals every single year and IT MUST STOP!!!!!

It is time for the shelters in the United States of America to become what their names mean, A SHELTER. Shelter does not mean kill the animals you were to bring shelter to. Our citizens of this country must become responsible pet owners along with our shelters denying people a younger version of the older dog they just dumped off at the shelter, the cycle repeats itself. We need to hold the people responsible for the actions of their dog, not the dog or its breed
