Make organic recycling optional, not mandatory

This is not a good way to incentivize people. Not sure what the containers are like but unless air right/odor free, they will be a problem . Make it optional.

Another waste of our money. I do not want another bin nor do I want to take part in this

This should be optional. We have been doing organical recycling in our garden for over 23 years.

I already have mice in my garage and mice, rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks roaming around the yard. The last thing I need or want is a way for them to get ahold of food scraps. My next door neighbor has squirrels that already chew through his trash can trying to get food scraps. Also I can imagine the stench in the summer from everyone having these cans. I definitely do not have an interest in this program.

Let’s keep it optional some people already keep their organic waste and use it in there garden. Let’s do this the democratic way and not force people to do something they don’t need or want, while forcing them to pay for it!

I am definitely not for mandatory. To charge us whether we use it or not is wrong. I'm all for recycling but let us as tax payers decide a few things on our own without telling us what we have to do and giving us a bill for it.

Just another money making scam that we pay for to make our lives more miserable. Stinking garage filled with flies all summer long...Less garage space, more eye pollution and even more garbage trucks!

There are small, inexpensive, effective composers readily available and great for adding to gardens and pots. If you are really concerned...shrink on line purchases as most of the packing is excessive among other collateral effects.

We also do NOT want yet another trash bin to use and store. And we do not need more ways to attract vermin and other critters to our house and garage!

We are a couple of seniors, aged in the 80's. We have a very small amount of garbage. We have no need for an additional waste can to store. This program should definitely be optional ONLY

t's enough already. Leave people alone. Stop forcing people to live the life you determine they need. If implemented, we need to throw those responsible out of office. Anonymous PS, I'm in Edina, not River Falls.
