Food is biodegradable. It decomposes. Why would we want more truck traffic on our roads to collect this. Doesn’t make any sense to me.

Not for it - how much would it be ... I would need to downsize the cans to fit in my garage... or organic waste can must have a lid more secure so animals don’t catch wind

I’m all for the service but it should not be mandatory. A very poor and lazy introduction by the city.

This should not be mandatory. I do not want a 4th trash can. BTW when we asked for weekly recycling, the city said no because people don’t want to pay extra. Now the city says yes to organics and we have to pay for it. Why did they not undertake a citizen study to see how many want this. Something about this new policy is just wrong .

Organic waste collection should be OPTIONAL.
Edina City Council goes too far trying to dictate everything and decide what is best for residents. Would like to know which businesses are lobbing for making organic waste collection a mandatory for all.
Another reason to vote for 100% new people for Edina City Council.

We do not want this! We put organic food in our disposal. Not having a 3rd container, smell, etc

We do our own organic composting, and do NOT want the city of Edina, FORCING another tax on us. We will not be using the service, and do not think it should be Force Fed to us!
