I am a 1967 NEHI graduate and a grandmother of a student still going there. I can't understand why headphones can't be used during free time outside of the classroom. There is so much stress in school so why is it important to take something like this from them that allows a kid a peaceful moment to unwind with some music. Who is it that sat in a meeting and decided this?

Tardy thing I don't really care about, a card will save time. But, headphones during lunch and between classes helps more than hurts. It is the people stuck to their phones, texting or tweeting or snapchating, not the ones listening to music.

I'm indifferent about the tardy policy because I'm unaffected but this headphone thing has got to go.
