We want to generate enough support from the local residents and businesses in Murthly to convince Perth and Kinross Council to turn all current 30 and 40 MPH zones to 20 MPH. This would include the road outside the School, village hall and also the shop. We want more locals to feel able to walk and cycle in a much safer environment.
We don't have a village green or central area for Murthly, children and the Elderly have to walk along the main road running through Murtly to go to the shop, School and Village hall. Murthly has doubled in size with Druid Park which has created more traffic and pedestrians.

I wholeheartedly agree with this petition.... We must keep our children and villagers safe..... Speed injures and kills all so unecessarily...

Totally agree! Most people drive very sensibly but there are a few people drive past our house far too fast. We have had many animals killed on that road! 20 is Plenty!!
