Jennifer Desmond has worked several years for the Newfound Area School District. She has been Site Coordinator for Project Promise for 4 years at NHCS. She has dedicated much of her time and gone above and beyond to make sure the children she cares for in this district get the best education and opportunities possible. She has helped fund events and supplies out of her own pocket. She has now been given an choice to either work for the school district during the day or project promise after school because she is considered a part time employee. A simple fix would be to make her full time or give her a contract position. I am not sure if we can make this happen but if we get enough signatures then just maybe we can let the kids keep her in their lives.
