Intercultural Communication as a class fosters an environment where all students become aware of cultural variables that affect how we as a people communicate verbally and non verbally. Given the population and location of Elmhurst College, there are a vast number of students culturally unaware of other identities and how those identities affect individuals in American Society. This petition will be presented to administration to consider making this course necessary to graduate.
