The current team events system in HCR2 is far from what players expect. The
multitude of teams and the matchmaking system makes interesting matches
very rare & matchmaking algorithm tunings doesn't work.
The rules for calculating points are also unfair (e.g. they do not seem
to take into account the difference in points between the teams - losing
by a small difference of points often results in losing a significant
number of points).
To cure these ills, we suggest changing the teams gameplay system by dividing teams into leagues.
The best teams should form the main league that would fight for the
HCR2 championship titles in the following seasons. Other teams would
form more leagues, of which the best would advance to the upper league
every season, and the weakest to the lower league. Every league's
scoreboard should be calculated only by the real number of points won or
lost by the team during matches (clear and simple).
At the same time, we are asking for the elimination of the
possibility of repeating maps with use of additional tickets. In return,
we would like to see a more radical change: an unlimited number
of rides, however with the option of indicating (in advance before the
single ride) whether we are going training or competition. Only
in the competition ride the player's score would be saved in the
scoreboard. Competition rides could be limited to e.g. 20 per match.
Such a formula would significantly reduce any unfair practices in the
game (e.g. illegal tickets adding) and will make it much more
interesting.
Matchmaking is broken right now. So boring to play against teams way higher than us.
