However, Gamebattles.com has been taking advantage of it's consumers, most noticeably in the recent weeks. To make cash on Gamebattles.com, you must be registered on the website and purchase "Gamebattles credits." Gamebattles credits are what allow players to pay the entrance fee to join online tournaments. The prices of these credits are as follows: 10 for $7.50, 25 for $18.75, 50 for $37.50 and 100 for $75.00. Each tournament costs approximately 15 credits or $10.75 to enter. For the estimated 10 years that these tournaments were hosted, Gamebattles.com has offered prizes for the 1st and 2nd place teams that placed in each tournament. 1st place winners would receive the cash prize and the entrance fee or credits back, while the 2nd place team would receive just their credits back. Now the 1st place team just receives the cash prize and 2nd place receives credits back. Despite the complaints of hundreds of members in the community, Gamebattles Head Staff will not hear us out, giving many of us arrogant or no response to why this has changed after a successful 10 years in place.
