We the residents of the Hamilton Beach Community have grave concerns in regards to the safety of our community. We ask that our elected officials take notice and take action on the following concerns:
- Reduce speeding on Beach Boulevard with the implementation of some sort of deterrent such as; speed bumps (permanent or temporary), stop signs, traffic lights.
- Install additional lighting on the beach path and ensure that all lighting, new and existing is LED

I am currently gathering feedback from neighbors to present a formal request to the local council. These traffic concerns are echoed by almost everyone I talk to on Beach Boulevard.

It needs to be a great, safe to be again I Grow up here and i like it here . I also like to see more stores here and a gas station come back. A market would not be bad either. Or a community vegetable garden !
I strongly agree with this petition, especially traffic calming measures. Too many people use the street as a high speed bypass of the highway during rush hour.
Speed bumps would be fantastic.
I live on the beach and would love to see it back to it was safe and worry free

I live on the beach and can't believe how fast the buses go speed down here. I'm all for speed bumps.
