Our university only recycles 7.8% of its waste. At the end of the month they will choose a new waste company. This will likely follow the trend of being the cheapest one on offer, not the one that can recycle the most waste. Why? Because the university assumes that students don't care... We need to show them that they're wrong. A collective voice could really turn this issue around. Make Glasgow University commit to a target of increasing the percentage of waste it recycles to 10 times the current figure.
