We, the undersigned call on the University of Glasgow, GUSA, the GUU and the QMU to end the sale of bottled water, which contributes to the waste of about 2000 bottles on campus per day.

The University of Glasgow and the student unions are still ignoring the thousands of plastic bottles piling up in our bins every single day. Their silence is a pathetic attempt to wait us out but we are not going anywhere until they stop profiting off this environmental disaster.

so much waste everyday it makes me sick. we have water fountains for a reason!!!
the litter in the union is honestly embarrassing. do something about it.
Just buy a reusable bottle. It costs pennies.
Good luck with this. Really hope the uni actually listens but I doubt they will.
Ridiculous amount of plastic just sitting in the bins everywhere. Use the taps FFS.

Honestly about time. Glasgow is meant to be a green city so stop selling these useless bottles on campus.
