We are petitioning Boston Public Schools to offer Dr. Freeman-Wisdom a permanent position as the Headmaster of the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics and Science. She has contributed in a significant way since her arrival and we want her to continue permanently.
We support her candidacy and want Dr. Tommy Chang, BPS Superintendent of Schools, to do the same.

Please keep Dr. Freeman-Wisdom as the permanent headmaster for the O'Bryant School. In addition to her dedication and skills, it is important for the O'Bryant to have stability in this important position.
We are very impressed with Dr. Wisdom. In the short time she has been here, she has gone out of her way to be available to staff, students and families. Please allow her to help O'Bryant grow into a model for all BPS.
Dr. Freeman-Wisdom is the most amazing principal I have ever met in my 16 years as a BPS parent. Her passion, knowledge and commitment to her students and staff is remarkable. She is bringing back the greatness our school was created to be. Lets make her the official headmaster of the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics and Science!!!
In a few short months, Dr. Freeman-Wisdom has shown her strong dedication to, and belief in, the students, families, faculty and staff of the O'Bryant School. She has a vision for the school community and should have the opportunity to work with everyone to achieve those goals.

As a 20 year member of the O'Bryant community (the last 10 as an assistant headmaster), I wanted to voice my support for Dr. Wisdom. She has brought much needed professionalism, leadership and stability to our school. Her positive, inclusive leadership style reminds me of Peggy Kemp during her all too brief tenure at the O'Bryant (2001-2002). The O'Bryant can not afford another change in leadership. I sincerely believe that Dr. Wisdom is the person who can move the O'Bryant forward. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
