Hi Robert.No my brother didn't cross between parked cars,he came out of the cut from the shop on one side,and was almost fully accross the road when he was hit by the driver travelling down the bank,which she had just overtaken the stationary cars on that lane.There was no parked cars to the side he came out of,but there was on the opposite side.x

This part of that road has always been dangerous,have to agree something should have been done years ago.

I don't live there but it sounds like a dangerous road that doesn't need to be so dangerous, cannot understand why pointless deaths occur when the councils can actually do something about it, the same goes for all the flooding we have had and all the dangerous roads in this country. They are quick enough to put Council Tax up year after year without us seeing very much for it

John was an old skool friend and a geniune person who was really easy to get on with. its such a tragic to loose a geniune guy to road accidents and to prevent this happening again we need attention towards this road.

People park on the left hand side of the bank going down, you have cars trying to exit the back streets and buses going up and down all day it is a very very dodgy area as cars try to pass in a hurry so as not to give way to other traffic. you also have people exiting buses and crossing the road in between parked cars as this poor lad probably done. GET IT CHANGED and whikle your on do something about the bus stop on the bank just below the cricket club because that is a death trap also.
