I have always lived in this area and I have to agree it is a disgrace that so many parked cars are lawfully able to park on the side of that road mounting kerbs to try and make room. It is very dangerous as there are a lot of families with children in this area and even I as an experienced driver feel edgy whilst passing. This isn't the first death to occur here and I'm sure it won't be the last unless something substantial is done!

Road surface rubbish,has been for a long time,25 years. .Should be no parking all the down an up 24/7.Should be red route,like London,but strict speed AND BETTER ROAD SURFACE

the way cars are parked at this strech of road it needs double yellow lines to stop them parking

My 2 houngest granchildren go to Blaydon West School, speed some drivers travel at whether going up or down Blaydon Bank is disgraceful i was nearly knocked once while crossing on the zebra crossing ,driver didn,t slow down ,please council do something about this, how many people have to be injured or die before something is done

I have always said for years something needs to be done. I was born & brought up in Burnley street & was always scared trying to get across the road to the bus stop. Also the bend outside the Huntsman opp the corner shop as such a blind spot. Good luck hope get something sorted. The cars should not be allowed to park on main part of the road
