We believe Sir John A. Macdonald, Canada's first and greatest prime minister, inspires us still.  He is as relevant to the challenges we face as a nation today as he was at the time of Confederation.

We believe the greatness of Sir John should be prominently recognized in Canada's capital by the renaming of the Ottawa River Parkway in his honour; the scenic ten kilometre route that begins at the foot of the Parliamentary precinct near the Canadian War Museum.

About time we showed some respect for the man who built this country. Rename it already.
