By now most of you are aware of McMaster's decision to phase out the art history program within the next two years. I have decided I cannot just sit around and watch my former department fall apart. This is only a start but signing the petition will at least show the school that we may be a small department but we care about our studies. ARTS MATTER! total nonsense. they just want to move the money elsewhere but art history is fundamental. shame on mac.
ARTS MATTER!! Keep it going.
why cut art programs? it just makes the school smaller and less interesting. keep the department open.
this is so sad. the program was the best part of my time at mac. dont get rid of it.
Class of 2014. Art history taught me how to actually look at the world around me. This is a huge mistake by the university.
