This injustice has been a huge shock and disappointment to our GRE community. Mr. Acosta would make an outstanding Principal. His genuine love and dedication for our school is apparent to all! There is no one, who is better qualified to lead Garden Ridge Elementary!

I've expressed my endorsement to the board via email letter. I think the board is short sighted if not considering Mr. Acosta for the job.

I have had children at Garden Ridge Elementry (GRE) for the past four years. During this time Mr. Acosta has been the face of that school. I see him at every event, I see him every time I drop a child off at the school. His kindness and approachability helped make our transition from the California schools to GRE very easy after we moved to Flower Mound in 2012. He seems to honestly care about each student and parent as well as the staff. This is a quality of a good leader. I think GREnwould benefit greatly from having him at its helm.

Mr. Acosta is the heart of GRE. He shows his leadership and compassion every single day. He's welcoming, visible, credible, trustworthy and responsible. I can't think of any better traits in a great Principal for our children, teachers and parents.

I was suprised to hear that it was suggested all of the letters from parents somehow had been suggested by Mr Acosta. That couldn't be further from the truth. It was a genuine, spontaneous outpouring of support from those recognizing a true special person in education-which is so rare today. In fact I have never seen this level of dedication and commitment before.

Wr were completely shocked that Mr Acosta was not chosen as our new principal. Between 2 kids, we have been at Garden Ridge for 7 years now he has been the heart and soul of the school. He deserves this more than anyone.

Mr Acosta has been the face of GRE for us since my son started in Kinder (11 years ago). Now my girls attend GRE and we can't imagine this school without his leadership. He knows the names of all of my children and asks about them each time I see him. He truly cares about these students and the school.
