We have two children who attended Garden Ridge over the course of 6 years in recent years. He is excellent in dealing with students, parents, and staff of this community and should be reconsidered to lead this great school.

Mr Acosta has been the face of Garden Ridge for as long as my kids have attended. He is always smiling and welcoming everytime we have seen him. He is the best choice for for principle and already knows the school and every child.

Mr. Acosta has earned this position. He gives is extremely dedicated to this school and genuinely strive for the best of every student. He goes above and beyond to help students succeed. He is always the first smiley face we see every morning and the last one when we leave. Please, give him the opportunity he deserves!!!

I was so stunned when I realized that Mr Acosta did not get the position of principal All he is done for our children and the school. He truly deserves this He is the heart of Garden Ridge elementary.

I feel Mr. Acosta is the perfect person for the job. He is a great person, educator, and role model. My second child is at GRE now, and we love how involved he is with the students and families of the school. He is a sincere individual who is respected by students, parents, and teachers alike. Mr. A has EARNED the principal position at Garden Ridge Ele. through 15 years of dedication and support for our kids. There isn't one student he doesn't know the name of or one graduate he doesn't remember and say a kind word to. He has the overwhelming support of the staff and parents.
Luis Acosta deserves the position as head principal.

Mr. Acosta has been a great asset to GRE during his tenure. He has always shown great leadership, compassion, and professionalism. I urge the board to reconsider their decision, My two children are former GRE students and it saddens me to think that the school may lose such a wonderful leader.

He is great teacher great Leader, smart knows all the students by name in that school, give me a break why LISD need to bring some one from outside has no clue about the school nor the staff ??

Mr. Acosta has definitely been an asset to Garden Ridge Elementary. I have been at this school many years and my 3rd child is now at Garden Ridge. Mr. Acosta has always been helpful with the kids and parents. He deserves and should be principal of this school.

He is the best! Words cannot explain the greatness in this man. He is 20 feet tall, warm, kind, intelligent, caring, and he knows every student and parent and their personality. It is very sad that we have to petition for the best person for this job! We cannot afford to have a Cleveland Brown situation here at Gardenridge.

Mr. Acosta is a tremendous asset to GRE both from a parent and substitute teacher point of view. He has vast experience that Lisd may end up losing. I know my children who are now in college still think highly of him and his leadership. It is difficult to understand why he was not given the Principal. He would have taken the helm and continue to grow that school into a new and different direction.
