To whom it may concern @town of Yarmouth.I met Carrie thru the Cape cod rough riders Club any years ago.I know she loves her horse Lucy very much and spends many hours a day caring for her.Also Lucy Loves Carrie and helps her get thru day.She looks healthy and happy to me.I truly believe they need each other. although I am not sure how much land is required by the town to keep one horse.I can say she loves that horse and is there everyday for long periods to take care and give her love.

I have known Lucy since she was a young little thing... sounds to me like a bitter old enemy has decided to try and pull rank around town to make the owners life hell (not the first time) LUCY will be the victim... she is loved, cared for, safe, and healthy. Shame on you... find a way to RESOLVE the issue, without putting the horse, owner, and land owner out. This is why I, and so many, leave the cape. Stuck up land grabbers who try to decide who is in the "in" crowd of the towns... disgusting place, I wish you could move, Carrie, but I know DISABILITY stops you. All our love. Grandfather Lucy so she can remain. If this was a problem it should have been dealt with a long long time ago. Too much time has passed. She must be grandfathered in now.

Kindness is an important part of governance. This won't go well for you especially at this time when people in this state are finely tuned, aware and mobilized to fight injustice. Don't get caught up in something you can easily side step. Do the right thing and find a way out this Town of Yarmouth. Avail yourself of the public. There are deep pockets on the Cape. We are counting on you.

Whatever happened to the land of the free? I understand we need government but it seems the Town wants to control everything. Let this one go. Remember what happened at the Chandler Gray Cemetery when changes were made? One small horse isn't hurting anyone or anything. Even her doctor said Lucy is an emotional support animal. How would you feel if someone threatened to take away something you depended on? Please let Lucy stay!

Town of Yarmouth, shame on you! Let this women and her horse ( both older) enjoy the life they have known. Sounds like age discrimination to me.
Is it affecting anyone adversely if they stay, I think not! Perhaps if the zoning laws have changed then allow no new horses to live there, but Lucy and her owner should be grandfathered in and be able to stay.
You need to contact PETA (non profit animal rights organization) and their lawyers can help you out. Also you should have your petition on Change.org (free) and you will have thousands of signatures in no time. Goodluck and feel free to contact me with any questions!

This horse is obviously loved and cared for. The size of the land has nothing to do with it. Look at Westport. Plenty of land, and plenty of dead and abused animals.

Lucy is well loved and well cared for. Her living situation is safe and meets all her needs. There is precedent for keeping horses on the property. Do the right thing and let Lucy stay at 66 White's Path. Show some human compassion and honor this unique situation.
