Doesn't the town of Yarmouth have better things to do than pick on a woman and her horse that has been on the property for years? I travel White's Path 2 or 3 times a day, 365 days a year and have actually never noticed Lucy so how can she be so troublesome now? Money talks once again and once again, it seems that's all the town of Yarmouth is interested in. If the zoning laws haven't come into play yet, why should they now? Boo to the town of Yarmouth! Leave Lucy and Carrie alone!

I just dont seem to understand what huge problem that the government has with the horse anyway, I dont really see how this animal could bother anybody.

There is no reason why that horse should not be allowed to stay where she is. I met Carrie and Lucy years ago and she is one of the most kind hearted women I ever met. Everything she did, she did for her animals. If anyone has ever been attached to an animal let alone a horse you understand how deep that bond is and how different they make you feel just being in their presence. Please don't put this woman through anymore misery than she's already had to endure, let her keep her horse.

The Town of Yarmouth could easily approve an appeal or zoning variance based on Carrie's need for an emotional support animal due to her disability. This property once legally housed several horses, do one horse really shouldn't be an issue. Let Lucy stay!

I have known Carrie since grade school. She takes very good care of her horses. She would never put one in harms way.

I had the lucky opportunity of possibly leasing Lucy. From the way Carrie talked about her, I could tell that she loved this mare. Carrie is doing everything she can for Lucy and wouldn't ever put her in harm's way. Lucy is loved by everyone around her. She isn't bothering anyone and she is someone's service animal. You wouldn't take a service dog away from someone who didn't have a big backyard, would you?

If she is happy and healthy, let her stay!!

I know lots of ppl who have acreage of land and yet their horses live in the barn and only allowed out in front of the barn (within feet of it). If you take this therapy horse away that is well cared for all day long, chances of it going to slaughter are highly likely. Consider before condemning based on regulations

the town should have better things to spend its time and money on that this. I live here in town and can tell you there are plenty of things needing attention that are or should be higher priority
