We, the employees of Longs Peak Hospital, demand that director of operations Stacie Redford engage in a face to face meeting with representatives of all LPH units to formulate parking policies and consequences based on employee input.

We also sincerely regret the written and verbal threats of termination for parking in the wrong spaces. We view this is as a morale-lowering step incongruent with UCH stated values and harmful to patient care.

tired of walking half a mile to get to my shift just to have someone in a suit tell me i might get fired for parking in a spot that was empty anyway

its honestly ridiculous that we get threatened over parking when we are already overworked. fix the lot or let us park closer.

WHY do the admin spots stay empty when we have to hike across a muddy field in the dark? totally unfair.

Can we get a parking lot that isn't dirt? And super sketchy at night to walk to by ourselves?

The failure of administration at LPH gaining staff input on the lack of parking due to their poor planning during construction shows how little the working staff are valued at our hospital. We are being threatened with termination for parking in the wrong spot, and are being forced to park in an unsafe gravel parking lot, which requires crossing a road that many people speed around to avoid main road traffic. The staff that actually do the work and take care of patients need a say in these decisions being forced on us.

We have been working hard and reliably for uc health. Strange how on the weekends the lot isn't full. Nursing staff doesn't change...looks like administration needs their own lot
