Claire Louise Allan sadly lost her battle to cervical cancer on 17th August 2009 aged just 23 years, leaving behind 2 little girls then aged 5 and 18 months! In 2004 the goverment decided to change the age of cervical smears to 25 from 20, if Claire had been given that all important smear at 20 she would still be here today. It was always Claire's wish to do something about this, she laways intended to do something herself, ''when i'm better mum'' she used to say. Sadly she never got the chance, when Claire found out she was dying she asked me to do this for her. So this is what i am doing, we have already put one petition into Downing Street, which of course has been ignored. So here we go again!!
