Lower speed limit to 30 mph outside Aston Fence School

Council needs a death before they will act. See the 2009 report recommending 20mph limit amongst other interventions, ie no action in last 6 years. Disgusting.

Not only dose the speed need to be lowered but some parents need to learn how to park, I.e not over the school gates, and not in with of the bus stops.

30mph should be the absolute max outside a school.

yes a very good idea should start it at least 100 yards above school and from roundabout below

My son attended this school, I think the safety of children should come first, I drive up and down this road every day, make it 30mph.

There have been many objections to this,the children at the school are in danger. No brainer slow the traffic down every day

This road is dangerous - our children are at risk every morning and afternoon. The speed limit should be lowered to at least 30 but really 20mph!!

All the research suggests that a child struck at 30mph is much more likely to survive. This decision should be a no brainier for RMBC

Road unsafe no crossing appalling

We live opposite the home decor on the corner of falconer lane,even though the traffic lights there have calmed things down a bit you still get cars trying to 'beat' the lights

I lived next to fence school for 26 years and there were many bad accidents outside fence school and apart from lowering the speed limit some sort of speed camera or speed bumps are needed in my opinion.
