Hello my name is Dillon Imthurn. I am a type 1 diabetic. I am very interested in trying to talk about the rising prices of insulin. They are too high and most of us can’t afford our medicine so we are having to ration and risk the chance of going into coma or worse. The inventors of insulin sold the company for $1 in hopes it would never be as high as they are now. Diabetics have to buy more than just insulin. We have to buy needles and test strips and lancets. It’s over $1000 a month just for supplies then we have our other bills as well. I’m trying to get as many signatures I can in hopes that we can get this to Washington to try and figure out if there is any way we can all come to a compromise.
