My 12 year old grandson was diagnosed with T1D 6 months ago. In that time, even with insurance, we are out well over $2,000. Just today, a 90 day supply of needles for his insulin pen cost us $260. I could have bought the exact needles from Amazon for less than $96, but regulations in Tennessee prohibit the sale and shipment of needles. I worry about my grandson’s future. Not only about him emotionally dealing with being different and being non compliant with taking insulin because he just wants to be normal, but also him becoming non compliant because he simply can’t afford to purchase insulin.

People cannot afford medications already. Think of the people that are on medicare and medicaid. They shouldnt have to struggle and worry about if they are gonna be able to afford their insulin for next month

Price for insulin can go over $1000 a month. We need insulin and other diabetes supply to be more affordable. Please regulate prices and insurance coverage for insulin and CGM

My son is type 1, we are being extorted by our own country with these ridiculous insulin prices. It’s a matter of life an death, greed has no place here.

As a type one diabetic for the last 5 years I couldn’t agree more. The costs are insane and hardly affordable even with insurance.

I'm not sure how people can afford everything needed for diabetes. I was in a donut hole and my insulin was $500 for 1 month. Needless to say I went without for 1 month. HELP

Trump tried to help us & on day 2 in office Biden put a freeze on it. Line your pockets, Mr. President.
